Restaurant interior with a large colourful mural covering the back wall
Newcastle upon Tyne

Every wall is a blank canvas.

Murals, feature walls, floors and windows — printed straight onto the surface, or made in vinyl where the wall calls for it. One day on site, and the room is never the same again.

What we print

Straight onto the wall itself — or in vinyl, where that suits better.

A portable printer on a vertical rail prints your artwork directly onto plaster, brick, render, wood or concrete — surfaces a roll of vinyl could never follow. And where the wall is smooth or the surface is glass, we use printed vinyl instead. It's the cheaper option, and we'll tell you honestly which one your space calls for.

01

Feature walls

One wall that does the talking. Perfect behind a bar, a bed, a reception desk or a stage.

02

Full murals

Photographs, illustration, graffiti-style artwork or your own brand pattern, fitted to the shape of the room.

03

Floor graphics

The same machine prints horizontally. Non-slip and hard-wearing, ideal for shops, venues and entrances.

04

Ceilings

The last untouched surface in every refit. Print the artwork in reverse and mount it overhead.

05

Shop fronts

Windows and shutters with the graphics printed on the inside. No glare, no peeling edges.

06

Signage & wayfinding

Corridor numbers, school halls, wayfinding along flat runs. Crisp text at any size, no joins.

Also in vinyl: smooth walls, glass, shop windows, doors and floors — made to measure, fitted by us, and usually the cheaper way to do it. See the vinyl option →

One honest note. The printer runs on a rail with a carriage, so it cannot print right into the edges. Expect roughly 20–40 cm unprinted at the skirting, 25–40 cm below the ceiling and 5–15 cm at the sides — and a 3 m machine only reaches about 2.3 m up the wall. Designs are made to sit comfortably inside that space, so nothing important is lost. Send a photo of the wall and we'll tell you exactly what it can reach — before you commit to anything.

ceiling · 25–40 cm skirting · 20–40 cm 5–20 cm left corner 5–45 cm right corner printed area any width · up to about 2.3 m high on a 3 m machine
The hatched strips are the dead zones — the machine's carriage and rail cannot reach them. Everything inside the dashed line gets printed. Designs are drawn to sit inside that box, so nothing important is lost.
In a room

What it looks like once it's up.

Artwork running across a wall, with the wall still visible around it. One thing to allow for: pictures like these usually take the art right up to the ceiling, and the printer cannot. Allow for the dead zones shown in the diagram above — designs are made to work inside them.

Elegant dim cocktail bar with a baroque angels fresco across the back wall
Bar · baroque angels, deep crimson and gold — the sort of colour a dark room needs.
Bright kindergarten playroom with a cartoon animal mural across two walls
Nursery · friendly animals in bright colour. Original characters — nothing licensed, nothing to clear.
Boxing gym with a bold red and black boxer mural across one wall
Gym · boxer in red and black. Muscle and movement — the hardest thing for a print head to hold.

Three ways to do it

Straight onto the wall, printed vinyl, or a piece you hang.

Most jobs are direct-to-wall. But sometimes the surface, the building or the budget points somewhere else — so we offer all three and tell you honestly which is right for your wall.

MethodBest forWhere it falls short
Direct to wall Rough, brick and textured walls. Full walls with no joins. Floors. Same-day turnaround. Can't reach the last few centimetres at the skirting and ceiling — we plan the design around it.
Printed vinyl Glass, metal and smooth surfaces. Graphics that need to come off again. Tight budgets on flat walls. Has an edge all the way round, and joins on walls wider than the roll.
Canvas or print Rented places you can't print onto. Portraits and one-off pieces. Gifts. Taking it with you when you move. It's a framed object on the wall rather than the wall itself.

For bars, cafés and salons

Walls that change with the season.

A bar with a new theme every month is a bar people come back to look at. We offer a standing arrangement for venues that refresh regularly — one fixed price per change, booked in advance, done overnight so you don't lose a trading day.

Ask for a refresh quotation — tell us the wall, how often you'd change it, and we'll price the year rather than the job.

Printed vinyl

Vinyl, made to measure and fitted properly.

Not every wall wants ink printed onto it. Glass, metal, doors, shop fronts and rented units all take printed vinyl — and on a smooth flat wall it's the cheapest of the three ways to do this. We design it, we have it made to measure, and we fit it ourselves.

What we print

How it works

Turnaround: a quote within one working day. Supply-only orders posted in two to three days. Fitted jobs usually within a week of you approving the proof.

Where it works — and where it doesn't

Good surfaceWon't work
Smooth plaster and painted board · glass · metal · doors · shop fronts · cabinet fronts · flat panels Brick · render · textured or blown plaster · damp walls · fresh paint (it needs a few weeks to cure) · wallpaper

If your wall is in the right-hand column, we don't sell you vinyl — we print straight onto the wall instead, which is the one thing a vinyl shop can't offer.

How long it lasts

Walls wider than about 1.5 m are printed in panels and joined, and the join is visible if you look for it. If you want no join at all, we print directly onto the wall instead.

Windows and glass

Shop windows, glass and light.

Printed window graphics, made to size and fitted by us. They go on the inside of the glass, they come off cleanly, and they can be changed as often as you change your shop.

Made to measure, and fitted by our own hands — so you get one point of contact and one invoice.

Prints and portraits

Not every wall can be printed on. Some you'd rather take with you.

We print onto canvas and fine-art paper too — your own photograph, a portrait of someone, a design we've made for you. Sent rolled in a tube for you to frame, or stretched and ready to hang.

Ideal for rented homes, offices, gifts, and anyone who wants the artwork but not the decorating.

Canvas art

Or take it with you.

Not every wall belongs to a building. We print onto stretched canvas — your design, a photograph, or the piece you've always wanted on the wall — and it arrives ready to hang.

01

One-off pieces

Send a photo, a design or just an idea. We print it, stretch it on a wooden frame and post it to you.

02

Gallery walls

Three, five or nine pieces, sized to sit together. We work out the layout before anything is printed.

03

Business artwork

Branded canvases for offices, salons and reception areas. Repeatable, so you can order the same again.

Perfect for rented flats and offices where you can't print on the wall. Posted anywhere in the UK.

Design service

You don't need to know what you want.

"Something funky." "Something that makes people stop and look." That's enough to start with. Tell us the room, the feeling, and the colours you can't stand — and we'll come back with three directions to choose from. No artwork, no design skills and no idea required.

01

Tell us the room

A photo and a sentence about what it's for. A café that needs atmosphere, an office that needs life, a spare room that needs a reason to go in it.

02

Three directions

Three different looks, shown on your actual wall so you can see it before you commit. You pick one, or mix them.

03

We handle the rest

The artwork is prepared at the right size and resolution for the wall, then printed. You never touch a design file.

Design is included when we print the wall. Buying the artwork on its own is quoted separately, and you keep the files.

How it works

Four steps, one day on site.

01

Send a photo

Smartphone photo and rough measurements. We'll tell you what's possible and what it costs.

02

We design

Your artwork, or ours. You see exactly what goes on the wall before anything is ordered.

03

We prep

A flat, clean, dry surface. Most walls need a primer coat the day before.

04

We print

On site, in the room, in a day. Furniture back in the same evening.

The way we work

Everything on the table, before you pay anything.

We tell you what other companies don't — the things that go wrong. Most of the trouble in this trade is what nobody mentioned, so we say it at the start, in writing, while you can still walk away.

No secrets. Nothing hidden. No beating about the bush. If we can't do something, we'll tell you that too.

Not sure which one?

Tell us what you're imagining. We'll work out the rest.

There are three ways to do this — printed straight onto the wall, made in vinyl, or as a piece you hang. If you don't know which one fits your wall, you don't need to decide before you contact us.
